KEYNOTE
Dr Steven Cartwright holds a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Edinburgh. He left a career at Oxford University to study homeopathy and since 2009 has been investigating the physico-chemical properties of homeopathic medicines through a variety of spectroscopic and analytical techniques. These have largely focused on the development and use of solvatochromic dyes to characterise potencies.
In 2021 Steven established the Cherwell Laboratory for Fundamental Research in Homeopathy in Oxford, dedicated to both understanding the fundamental nature of homeopathic medicines and consequently how they might act clinically. He has published extensively on the chemistry of potencies over the last seventeen years and is a member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society.
